Camel Roaming
Mobile phone networks which are IPKO partners for Camel Roaming allow you to make calls as if you are calling within the IPKO network, without having a need to dial additional codes. The only difference is that when you are out of Kosovo and call in Kosovo, then you should call the Kosovo number in the form of an international call, for example: +386 49 xxxxxx or 00386 49 xxxxxx.
USSD Roaming through returned calls
IPKO users can use USSD roaming through returned calls in case any operator does not support Camel Roaming or in case it does not have a direct agreement with IPKO. This type of Roaming enables access to the networks of a larger number of foreign operators. You can use this roaming when Camel Roaming is not supported. In order to make calls from this type of Roaming, you need to dial in the following form:
*125*[telephone number]# (the phone number should be dialed in the form of an international call).
To see whether an operator supports USSD Roaming, simply dial the code which you use to check the balance of your account, in the following manner: *123#
If a statement of your account appears in your screen, this means that the mobile phone operator in which you are connected does support USSD Roaming and you can continue making calls in the manner described above.
