How to activate?
To begin using the Internet on your phone, you will have to go through a few easy steps:
1. First activate the Internet option on your mobile phone, by texting “Plus GPRS” to 123
2. Second, will have to configure your mobile phone, which you can do:
- Manually,
- Through instructions presented on www.ipko.com,
- At any IPKO store,
- Or by calling Call Center on 049/038 700 700.
3. And finally, you choose your package and activate it:
- by SMS,
- by IPKO Menu,
- or at any IPKO store.
Configuration
To configure your mobile phone manually, you just have to put in the information:
- APN: IPKO
- Username: (none)
- Password: (none)
- Proxy: 213.229.249.40
- Proxy port: 8080
i-Phone manual phone configuration goes by adding the information:
- Settings
- General
- Network
Cellular Data Network:
- APN: IPKO
- Username: (none)
- Password: (none)
- Activate by SMS
After you’ve activated the Internet option and configured your mobile phone, activation of your chosen package by SMS is done by texting:
- “Web L” if you choose the package with 150 MB Internet
- “Web XL” if you choose the package of 400 MB Internet
- “Web XXL” if you choose the package of 1 GB Internet
Automatic activation
If you would like to have your package activated automatically, each time after your chosen package is used, then you should text*:
- “Auto L” if you choose the package with 150 MB Internet
- “Auto XL” if you choose the package of 400 MB Internet
- “Auto XXL” if you choose the package of 1 GB Internet
*In order for your automatic activation to be successful each time, you should have the right amount of credit on your phone, every month.
How to deactivate?
Your chosen package will only deactivate when it expires its 30 days usage term. No other options are available.
Balance check
To check your MB balance just press *123*1# and your MB balance will show.
