14.12.2007Telekom Slovenije Group launches GSM mobile network in Kosovo.
Pristina, 14 December – More than half a year after being awarded the concession as the second mobile operator in Kosovo, the Telekom Slovenije Group consortium, the holder of which is iPKO and also including Telekom Slovenije and Mobitel, kept its promise and launched the network commercially.

First international call from Ipko’s GSM network
14.11.2007The first international test telephony connection through Ipkonet’s new GSM network in Kosovo was established on Tuesday. The connections from Priština to Ljubljana were made without any problems and performed well. As we already reported, the experts from Telekom Slovenije, Mobitel and Ipkonet conducted a test call within the new mobile network in October.

First Call in Ipko's GSM Network
29.10.2007Experts of Telecom Slovenia, Mobitel and Ipko Net, have made the first testing call, within the Kosovo GSM Network. First call in the new network, with the characteristic number 049, was successful. Ericsson's main connection point was in Prishtina, with the first base station also placed near by. Installment of their base stations planned during the first phase of the project, is almost finished.
