10 new channels on IPKO CABLE TV

From 1st of November, IPKO clients of cable television will have the opportunity to be informed and entertained through 10 new international television channels.

Ten new international television channels of news, entertainment, music and children programs will be added to the offer of cable television network of IPKO (IPKO cable TV) from 1st of November.

Enhancement of these channels enriches the IPKO cable offer in 29 television channels in total, majority of which are broadcasted exclusively through IPKO network.

The new channels of cable network of IPKO that are going to be viewed from 1st of November are: BBC, CNN, Cartoon Network, MTV, VH1, Fashion TV, Travel Channel and Rai Tre.

These new channels are the enhancement of those broadcasted until now that are: IPKO TV, RTK, KTV, RTV 21, 21 Plus, 21 Popullore, Rrokum TV, Top Channel, Top News, Klan, Top News, My Music, Explorer 1, Explorer 2, Explorer 3, Alsat, Alsat M, Folk + and On TV.

IPKO reconfirms its goal to advance in technological aspect the cable television network through digital transmission. Digital TV form IPKO will offer the viewers television signal as well as high quality viewing together with a large offer of programs including here a full offer of programs of Digitalb as well. Implementation of digital broadcast is expected to start at the end of this year.

IPKO is a major bidder of cable television in the territory of Kosova, by leading with the number of clients as well as network extend. IPKO has more than 51 thousand clients’ of cable television which is offered together with internet connection. In eleven cities of Kosova 160.000 ports are built, which is intention for possibility of connection of this number of clients. We are working on enhancement of network in Dardana, Deçan, Klina and other smaller locations in outskirts of regional centers where the service will start until fall. Completion of over 180.000 ports is planned until the end of the year, including projects in some other cities in Kosova and the completion of the Triple (Triple – Play) offer that includes internet, land line fixed telephony and Digital Television.

IPKO offers telecommunication services of mobile telephony, internet, fix telephony as well as cable television. All these services are licensed by proper authorities.
