IPKO BRINGS PASION DE BUENA VISTA IN MITROVICA

IPKO Telecommunications Company, one more time brings the stars of world music in Kosova.
One of the most famous bands of Latin music in the world, Pasion de Buena Vista, are coming to Mitrovica on 14th of April, at a concert organized especially for the city known as a birthplace of jazz music in Kosova.
Prishtina 8th of April 2009 – Pasion de Buena Vista is the next surprise which IPKO Company brings for the citizens of Kosova, especially for those of the city of Mitrovica, on the 14th of April, in the sports hall “Minatori” in Mitrovica. For organization of this big cultural event, IPKO has the full support of Municipal Assembly of Mitrovica.
Except telecommunication services which solaces our customer communication with the entire world, IPKO Company also contributes in the development of cultural and social environment of the country as well, and the organization with Passion de Buena Vista concert is the continuation of social responsibility that IPKO Telecommunications Company practices in the market of Kosova.
Internationally well known Cuban band – Pasion de Buena Vista, is the gift which IPKO Company has made to the city where the jazz and rock music was born.
“By bringing Pasion de Buena Vista in Mitrovica, we wish to revive the cultural life in Mitrovica, in the city which for the first time in Kosova cultivated jazz and rock in our country. Also, we as a company wish to contribute in our society, through all events and activities which are very positive and for the benefit of the citizen of Kosova” – said Akan Ismaili, Executive Director of IPKO.
This cultural event, same time will be the biggest spring organization happening in Mitrovicaas as well as in Kosova in general.
“We believe that on the 14th of April, the city of Mitrovica will be in the focus in Kosova, however now with the best and the biggest cultural event, which will happen in this city” said Bajram Rexhepi, President of the Municipal Assembly of Mirovica.
Pasion de Buena Vista is a spectacular band of 26 members where the legends of this music genre participated, as well, like Ibrahim Ferrer and Company Segundo in the biggest scenes in the world.
Arrival of Pasion de Buena Vista is the biggest second cultural event in Kosova, after the one in December of 2007, when IPKO Company brought the biggest star of hip – hop music, the 50 Cent rapper, and arrival of whom meant the beginning of operation of IPKO mobile telephony in Kosova.
