Prishtina, 7th of February 2011 – Management Board of Telecom Slovenia has appointed Robert Erzin as the Executive Director of IPKO. Erzin will be in this position from 1st of February 2011.
Before he was appointed as executive director of IPKO, Erzin kept important executive positions in Telecom Slovenia for more than 17 years, where lately he has served as an advisor of the president of Management Board, and as a chairman of Board of Directors in Primo Communications in Albania, at the same time.
“Being appointed in the position of executive director of IPKO Company, is a big challenge for me. As a leading company in the industry of telecommunications in Kosovo, IPKO has a very bright future. This company employs young and very talented people, and I believe together we will achieve new records” said Robert Erzin, after he was appointed as executive director of IPKO.
Rober Erzin’s professional career with Telekom Slovenia started in 1994, where initially he has worked as a network and transmission developer, to continue later on as a director of marketing, market research, pricing policy as well as service development, for more than four years.
Later on, Erzin was appointed as the director of service development, and 3 years later in the position of director of pricing policies and regulator, and after this in the position of director of the controlling department, network and infrastructure.
Erzin graduated at the Faculty of Economics and business program in IMD, as well as Faculty and master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Ljubljana. He is fluent in four foreign languages as well.
His predecessor, Branko Babic will leave the position of executive director and the position of member of Board of Directors at IPKO, before 1st of February 2011. He will continue his professional career in other executive positions, outside IPKO.
