Prishtina, 9 August 2018 – In the next two years, IPKO will be the General Sponsor of the National Football Team of Kosovo and the Football Super League of Kosovo which will be called “IPKO Football Super League of Kosovo”.

The sponsoring agreement was signed by Executive Director of IPKO, Robert Erzin, and the President of Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi.

“Football is one of the most popular sports in the world, and we have been connected to football through the richest TV platform: IPKO-Digitalb. We are proud of the National Football Team of Kosovo! They are young and full of potential, and I hope they will make all of us proud, particularly during the League of Nations matches, which will be organized and exclusively broadcast for the first time in IPKO-Digitalb platform”, Robert Erzin, Executive Director of IPKO Telecommunications, said.

There is no doubt that Kosovo is a country that loves sports and football in particular. The young boys of the National Football Team will be some of the biggest promoters of Kosovo and the values of the Kosovo state, Erzin added.

“We rejoice over the fact that the Football Federation of Kosovo, which gathers prestigious sponsors, will have IPKO as a sponsor of the National Football Team of Kosovo and the Super League of Kosovo. We believe that our cooperation will be successful; we also believe our boys and girls of national teams to be successful. We thank Mr. Erzin and IPKO for choosing us as their partner. FFK will have other sponsors as well, but IPKO will be the general sponsor for the next two years”, the President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Mr. Ademi said.

IPKO is a leader in broadcasting the most rich sports content in Kosovo. A few days ago, it was confirmed that until 2021 IPKO-Digitalb platform will broadcast under exclusive right the Serie A and La Liga, the Dutch Championship, etc. However, we should not forget about one of the most important events in football – the Premiere League, the matches of which start TOMORROW. Another event we should not forget about is UEFA Nations League + final four, and the finale, which will begin in September and will be exclusively broadcast by IPKO-Digitalb until 2021.

Last but not least, IPKO-Digitalb will exclusively broadcast more than 1000 football matches, including international matches under UEFA Nations League, international qualifiers of European Championship, and many events from other sports disciplines.
