IPKO PRESENTS FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR Q4 2014 AND MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS OF 2014

Introduction of new products and technologies helped IPKO continue its market growth in mobile, internet and digital cable television.

IPKO today announced financial results for the last quarter of 2014. When compared to the same period of last year, in Q4 2014 the company gained 2.5 percent market share in mobile for the total of 36.2 percent, marked 13.6 percent market growth on internet while retaining its leader’s position on digital TV.

By the end of 2014, IPKO generated EUR 69.5 million in revenues, EUR 43.4 million in costs, EBITDA of EUR 26.1 million, EBIT of EUR 7.1 million and annual capital investments made by IPKO reached EUR 13.9 million. IPKO’s capital investments in Kosovo’s economy since year 2007 reached a total amount of EUR 267.7 million.

Despite the numerous challenges faced, we are proud for our positive business outcomes, and commit for new investments in 2015, ongoing innovative offerings combined with enhanced business performance primarily focused on our users and prospects” said Robert Erzin, Chief Executive Officer of IPKO.

IPKO’s positive business results were driven by company’s unique, innovative market offerings and latest technologies in mobile telephony. Company’s key highlights of the year in mobile segment include the first-ever launch of 4G LTE network in Kosovo, exclusive offerings of Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, 30 smartphone models from global manufacturers, new low-cost tariff plans with national minutes and SMS, phones plus packages tailored for kids , 1 cent offer for calls, SMS’s and megabytes, and shared mobile data packages for Kosovo and Albania.

Throughout 2014 and in the fourth quarter of last year, IPKO’s has expanded its products and services offerings in more than 100 new villages all over Kosovo, reaching tens of thousands of new users of internet and digital TV for the first time.

As an important stakeholder in local community, last year IPKO initiated a corporate social responsibility project for supporting schools and children in under-developed rural areas that concluded with 30 schools being renovated and enriched with new learning tools and thousands of pupils having a better learning and playing environments in their schools.
