IPKO LAUNCHES 4G, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN KOSOVO

IPKO switches on next generation of mobile network – 4G: The fastest mobile speeds now available in Prishtina / Airport

After successful completion of the test phase, IPKO, country’s fastest growing mobile operator, today has officially announced that it switching to latest generation of mobile network of 4G in central parts of Prishtina and international airport – giving customers exclusive access to one of the fastest networks in the world, offering unrivaled speeds of mobile internet in Kosovo.

To sustain the dominant position of an innovation leader in Kosovo’s telecom market, IPKO’s mobile network has evolved from 2G to 4G and converged with Wi-Fi offloads in less than a year, enabling users to switch on modern and fast speed networks in an easy, flexible and unnoticed manner.

How to switch to IPKO 4G? In order to switch to 4G network of IPKO, users need to possess smart phones that support the 4G/LTE network and local frequency bands, as well as to change their current SIM card with the new ones supporting IPKO’s 4G network. User’s mobile number and data package will remain unchanged.

For company’s users who are not yet equipped with newest smart phones that support 4G network, IPKO will also offer four new models of smart phones from world’s leading manufacturers, respectively brands Samsung, LG, HTC and Sony, which could be purchased bundled with Mega data package, providing full experience.

The prices of the phones bundled with data package are the best on the market: Samsung F70 (15.95 euros per month), HTC 510 (19.95 euros per month), Sony Xperia M2 (19.95 euros per month), and Samsung Galaxy Express 2 (22.95 euros per month). For each selected phone model, the user will also get 3GB mobile Internet on monthly basis, for 12 months consecutively.
