Ipko lowers roaming prices up to 40 percent for Albania, Montenegro and Croatia

After the unique tariff with 27 EU countries and Macedonia, IPKO lowers the prices of roaming service even with Albania, Montenegro and Croatia. Roaming prices with IPKO are lower compared to any other offer in Kosovo.

Prishtina, 4th of July 2011 – Users of IPKO mobile telephony will have 40 percent lower tariffs for communication in roaming, during their stay in their preferred destinations for summer holidays, respectively Albania, Montenegro and Croatia.

After reaching the agreement to reduce the roaming tariffs with regional operators, like Eagle Mobile (Albania), T-Mobile (Montenegro) and Croatian Telecom (Croatia), IPKO has lowered the price for calls and SMS, in three neighboring countries. New prices of roaming service will be applied similarly for all countries.

With new unique tariffs, which are up to 40 percent cheaper compared to year before, the price for sending an SMS is 0.25 Euro, receiving a call in roaming costs 0.30 Euro, calls in Kosovo, 1.10 Euro, while receiving an SMS is free. The new offer of roaming prices for most frequented countries by kosovars during summer holidays is valid for the main period of holidays, and it ends on 30th of September 2011.

Prices of IPKO mobile telephony are average up to 50 percent cheaper, then any other comparable offer that is offered to kosovars, when they are abroad, while IPKO mobile telephony once more is confirmed as the cheapest mobile network, even as far as roaming service is concerned.

IPKO in general fulfills the legislation of European Union for creating a unique price of roaming in all member countries. From 1st of July 2009, all mobile operators within European Union, including IPKO mobile telephony as well, apply such single tariff.
