Ipko supports the festival of documentary film-Dokufest, in jubilee edition

For several years in a row, IPKO company has supported the biggest cultural event in Kosovo, The International Festival of Documentary and Short Films – Dokufest.

Prishtina, 13th of July 2011 – IPKO has announced that will stay beside it this year as well, to the biggest cultural event in Kosovo, international festival of documentary and short films – Dokufest, which is held traditionally in the city of Prizren.

“IPKO will continue to support the meaningful events in Kosovo, especially to those that contribute directly in cultural development of a community, a city and a country in general, like Dokufest for ten years in a row” said Alban Kastrati, Head of Public Relations in IPKO.

Consumers of IPKO mobile telephony will have the chance to buy tickets for different films presented at the festival, for 50 percent cheaper, by sending an SMS with the code 55049, while they can pick up the tickets at Dukufest tends in Prizen. Except financial support, IPKO this year as well will invest in promotion of the festival and the artistic values represented by it.

This year, Dokufest celebrates the 10 anniversary of foundation. Organizers have stressed that this jubilee edition is expected to be the biggest organized until today. Together with the children’s festival DokuKids, 200 films will be presented in total of 7 cinemas, while Prizren will receive one more cinema, Lidhja e Prizrenit.

Except many competitive and special programs, this year DokuFest organizes as well even more different workshops and debates. Organizers separated the participation of well known illustrator Mirko Ilic, who will host a panel regarding political and social design.

Also, DokuNights or concerts will be organized for eight nights in a raw at Mulliri (the Mill) where the organizers are going to bring bands and DJ from Kosova and the region. Among bends which are going to perform in DokuNights are: Sofa Surfersm Offchestra, Bei the Fish, Conquering Lion, DJ Toton, DJ protonyz, DJ Rez, etc. (–continues–).

The Festival of International Film, Documentary Film and Short Film, Dokufest, will be held in Prizren from 23rd until the 30th of July 2011, Dokufest constantly gathers people of art and culture from the whole world, by transforming this hospitable city – Prizren, in one of the most loving cities in Europe to be visited, during these days.
